 Meet the Doctor

Getting his start in medicine: My father is an orthopedic surgeon. I spent a fair amount of time watching him treat patients. As a result, I am comfortable taking care of basic orthopedic problems such as back, shoulder and knee pain.

Areas of Interest: My mom has diabetes. When you have a family member with a certain illness you become that much more interested in it. I also like treating people with vertigo (dizziness) since it’s often misdiagnosed and about half of patients can walk out of the office significantly improved.

What he likes about Northwest Hospital: The computer system that keeps track of patient information is quite helpful. I have immediate access to my patient’s labs and previous studies which allows me to help my patients more efficiently.

It’s also nice to have all the diagnostic capabilities the hospital provides right on campus, as well as a team of top-notch specialists who are timely in seeing my patients.

“I try to treat each of my patients
in the way I would want one of my
family members to be treated
when they see their doctor.”
